Option : A 

Let investment in 12% stock be Rs. y.

Then, investment in 15% stock = Rs. (12000 - y).

∴		12	x y +	15	x (12000 - y)		= 1360
		120		125

⇒		y	+	3	x (12000 - y)		= 1360
		10		25

⇒ 5y + 72000 - 6y = 1360 x 50

⇒ y = 4000.
